The phenomenon of globalization in modern science is considered a priority trend in world development. Global transformations are a process of real change in the economic, political, and cultural organizations at the regional, national, and global levels. Rapid and radical transformation at all levels and in many aspects of our life is required, with education as a central and powerful means to support the adaptation and strengthen the resilience of learners and societies. It is also important to ensure education systems become more resilient to transform the world.

Amidst the drastic changes in the economy, society, environment, and technology in the disruptive era, the education system needs to be changed radically to gain new quality people who will be able to meet the current changes and be the future change leaders. Such changes require educational leaders with leadership and educational management capabilities, which will be essential for driving the education system at national and international levels.

The Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Educational System Management Leadership Program, and Research Unit on Transforming Education System for Creating Innovators and Entrepreneurs (TESCIE) are hosting an academic virtual conference titled “The 2nd International Conference on Educational System Management Leadership (ICESML2023): Educational Management Design for Global Transformation” on April 28, 2023.

This conference will serve as a platform for researchers, educators, and participants from Thailand and worldwide for academic exchange on school leadership.
